The Net Group wins Expanded Big Delta area in Fort Bonifacio!
The Net Group has won the auction for the prime 1.2 hectare Expanded Big Delta area in the burgeoning Fort Bonifacio Global City. The Bases Conversion Development Authority (BCDA) announced that The Net Group won the area with a bid of Php2.03 billion.
The Net Group, a partnership between Messrs Carlos Rufino and Jacques Dupasquier, has built a series of middle to high-rise office towers in Fort Bonifacio that cater mostly to Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) firms. The buildings it has developed are the Net One Center , the Net Square and the Net Cube buildings. Soon coming on stream are the Net Quad and the Net Plaza buildings.
The Expanded Big Delta lot, which the BCDA considers its "primest" property in Fort Bonifacio Global City , carried a minimum bid price of P160,000 a square meter, or a total of P1.925 billion.
The lot was originally meant to host the Government Center for Business. It is right next to the West Super Block where a new Philippine Stock Exchange building, a six-star Shangri-La hotel and high-end residential condominiums of Shangri-La and Ayala Land will rise. This has added to the enhancement of the property values in the Expanded Big Delta area of Fort Bonifacio.
The Expanded Big Delta lot is in the E-Square district of Fort Bonifacio Global City. The E-Square has been classified as special economic zone and registered with the Philippine Economic Zone Authority.
The Expanded Big Delta lot has a maximum allowable floor area ratio of 12, which means it is allowed to have 144,432 square meters of mixed-use development.
